Samsung to ‘unpack’ Galaxy S5 this month at Barcelona event

Samsung has announced an official release date for their first Unpacked
event of 2014, and perhaps more significantly, it appears as though the Galaxy S5 will be taking centre stage.
The Unpacked events are usually built around Samsung’s latest flagship device and this year doesn’t appear to deviate from tradition. The name itself (Unpacked 5)
gives us a hint as to why we suspect the rumours may be true, that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will finally be revealed to the tech world after months of speculation.
The event will be taking place on Monday 24th February, kicking off at 8pm local time  (7pm UK time). For those that can’t make it, don’t fret! The entire event will be streamed on Samsung’s YouTube channel to ensure you’re kept up to date with all the latest announcements as soon as they’re made.
More recent rumours regarding the Samsung 5 indicate that there could potentially be two different models. One is said to come with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and 2GB of RAM, and another with an eight-core Samsung Exynos 5430 along with 3GB of RAM.
Other rumoured specifications include a 5.2-inch WQHD display, a 2MP front-facing camera and a 16MP rear-facing camera.
The wait is almost over folks, will you be tuning in to Barcelona on the 24th?
