Pre-order the new curved G Flex smartphone from LG

The new G Flex smartphone by LG is officially available to pre-order from Carphone Warehouse across the U.K, although some may be hard-pressed to gather the necessary funds in order to do so.
The brains behind the newest LG device, featuring the long awaited curved plastic OLED screen, may argue that the price tag is every bit justifiable. So let’s take a look.
The G Flex features a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and a 13 Megapixel rear-facing camera. Perhaps some of the more interesting features, the phone also boasts a self-healing back panel as well as the showcase ability to literally flex under pressure.
The 6-inch screen’s 720p resolution lets it down somewhat, but other than that the rest of the phone features pretty high end specifications. Is it worth the money though? Well that’s for you to decide.
There are currently two options for users to choose from, both coming through O2. The first is to pay an upfront fee of £79 and then a tariff of £52 per month for two years. Or if cash-flow is a big concern, then the second option is to pay an upfront fee of £49 and then a further £57 a month for two years.
For those ready to upgrade, the news is slightly more up-lifting. You have the choice of paying £42 a month without any upfront fee, or a whopping £449 upfront fee accompanied by a less burdening tariff of £16.99 a month.
So the curved POLED has finally arrived, now the question is whether or not you view this latest tech trend as a mere gimmick, or something far greater and more significant, worthy of a big pay out.
