Little Galaxy

Little Galaxy is a planet hopping platformer inspired by the ‘real story’ of a young scientist in an intergalactic property hunt. Collect stars to earn points along the way, but time your jumps carefully or risk getting lost in orbit.
Like all the best mobile games – from Angry Birds to Temple Run – Little Galaxy is simple. In fact, it’s so simple that you only use one button to play – just tap the screen to leap from planet to planet. The platforms spin on a constant rotation so it’s all in the timing, especially as the gravitational forces attempt to drag you into the abyss.
Despite how basic the controls are, the game’s gradual introduction of new features and upgrades means that there’s always something new to play for. Collect stars to earn more points, find magnets to help attract more stars, and there are many more bonuses and space-themed add-ons to be found along the way. You can either play for a high score, or work your way through the many goals and objectives to introduce new elements into the mix.
It’s a shame that there’s only one game mode, because there’s likely a limit on how long you can amuse yourself hopping around with a one button control. Even so, with loveable 3D graphics and a huge number of challenges to complete, Little Galaxy is a very decent platformer from Bitmap Galaxy.
In Little Galaxy you can explore the universe one planet at a time, and yet somehow the game feels too limiting to be a real classic. Still, at just 64p, it’s both great-looking and addictive.
